According to the Steam listing for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal Kestis’ next adventure will arrive on March 16, 2023. Of coutse I still think EA didn't bother trying to optimize for PCs with Nvidia graphics cards.Respawn Entertainment’s sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is just a few months away. You can have a hundred home built desktop PCs and each one is different. Optimazation for consoles usually involves one or two versions of each console BUT. Or maybe your memory doesn't work well with your HDD or SSD in Survivor. Or it could be the combination of your card and your memory. Two people might have the same card, but different CPUs and one has a great time and the other much worse. It's about the combination of ALL your components. I think what most PC players don't understand is that it's not just about your graphics card. When I turned FSR on I got a huge improvement in FPS, like a 10-15 FPS boost. Turning off ray tracing made a reasonable improvement, but FSR was the biggie. I agree, I went through the graphics settings one at a time and all but two of them made little difference in the game. But I had a slightly better experience than you. I installed Survivor on the new SSD, NOT on the same SSD as my operating system, don't know if that helped or not cause I gave nothing to compare it too. I purchased a second SSD and installed it in my laptop. Hey, I upvoted you! 😃 I have a laptop 3070 16gb of RAM. If you want to convey disappointment, doing so without whining is the better approach. Because it engages with the post, it seems relevant instead.

The latter makes a point, and encourages discussion given it isn't whining. Noone is going to listen to an issue if its expressed by whining. Especially as quite a few don't feel the issue, and as the player retention shows, don't actually care that much. The former is a comment so generic to just be tiring. You would imagine it would be even better if the game didn't suffer from them so much.

Suddenly an actual relevant point is being made.Įxample: It's a surprise that the game is able to keep player retention so much with the huge technical issues impacting many. The comments I referred to were just like that. If the comment is ->, then it just seems like irrelevant whining.
