Where in the main titles you use abilities and magic via menus, in KH3D, KHBBB, and 358/2 Days, you have a number of "slots" that you fill with commands of your choosing. That is, expect to get used to using the "Command Deck" style of combat. I don't know if you're familiar with any of the portable titles and how their combat functions compared to the main titles, but KH3D feels like a much more fleshed-out and smoother Birth by Sleep. The combat is more simplified on the portable games, but it still feels like Kingdom Hearts. I've played and loved 358/2 Days and Re: Coded, both on the DS and they were great.

The console has very little to do with the quality of the title.

I feel like it would be a bad game because the original platform it was meant for was PlayStation, not Nintendo.ĭon't worry in the slightest.
